Therapy

I usually conduct an evaluation the will last from 1 to 4 sessions. During this time, we ca both decide if i am the best person to provide the services you need in order to meet your treatment goals. If psychotherapy is begun, I will usually schedule one 45-minute session per week is a time we agree on, although some sessions may be longer or more frequent.

As a therapist, I tend to be more interactive, and proactive. While I feel that insight is very important, I focus on how therapy sessions will pragmatically change the individual’s life. Most of all, the keystone of my practice includes, respect to individual differences, belief systems and personal culture.

People looking for psychologists are often struggling with troubles that crop up in their life. Troubles that may be caused by painful relationships, work environments, family problems, health issues, or simply feeling stuck in an unsatisfactory life. These problems are stressful and the individual may experience worry, feelings of anxiety, sadness, or anger. When these problems or feeling start interfering with daily living it is time to address them.
